Qatar Airways will launch flights to Zanzibar from July 1, its third destination in Tanzania after Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro.
The new five-times-a-week Zanzibar service will operate via Kilimanjaro. The current Kilimanjaro flights will be non-stop from Doha to Kilimanjaro, with return flights from Kilimanjaro operating via Zanzibar.
The flight will be operated with an Airbus A320 aircraft in a two-class configuration with 12 seats in business class and 132 in economy.
On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, flight QR1355 will depart Doha at 08h50 and arrive in Kilimanjaro at 14h20. It will then depart Kilimanjaro at 15h20 and arrive in Zanzibar at 16h20. The return flight departs Zanzibar at 17h20 to arrive in Doha at 22h35.
