SOUTHERN Sun is investing in its Stay Easy product and the new Stay Easy Rustenburg, currently under construction, is due to open in October. “This 125-room hotel will offer a practical solution to the accommodation requirements of the price-sensitive traveller,” said Priya Naidoo, general manager - communications.
The all-inclusive rate at the hotel will include breakfast and comfortable rooms that accommodate up to three people per room. “Southern Sun continues to investigate opportunities for the Stay Easy Brand,” she said.
Along with the new Stay Easy and the Southern Sun Hyde Park hotel, scheduled to open in July 2009, Southern Sun is also investigating potential growth opportunities at Montecasino in Johannesburg and in Africa and the Middle East. “We hope to make some announcements soon,” said Naidoo.
