Tourism to Mozambique has been affected by reports of security issues in the country.
The area mentioned in travel alerts issued by countries such as the UK and the US makes up less than 10 percent of the country. Not understanding this is resulting in many tourists avoiding the country altogether.
As part of a special report Tourism Update is about to publish on Mozambique, the security situation will be dealt with in depth so that wholesalers and DMCs can use it to give an up-to-date and authoritative picture of what the dangers are and where resorts and areas are functioning safely.
It will be part of the most in-depth report we have published on Mozambique. We will also be looking at the country as an adventure destination.
