Thompsons Africa has opened a new office at the Windhoek Country Club.
Namibian, Birgit Louw, who has an extensive knowledge of Namibia, will meet all Thompsons Africa’s passengers at their hotels on arrival in Windhoek. She will offer advice on travelling distances, expected temperatures and safety precautions. For self-drive passengers, she will offer advice on filling up with fuel, what to take, specific vehicle checks and speed limits.
Louw has a supply of useful maps and brochures and is in cellphone contact 24 hours day, in case of emergency, or to simply provide assistance or information on the ground.
