TOURVEST has acquired the Makalali Game Lodge in the Greater Makalali Game Reserve in Limpopo. However, some regulations still need to be approved. The 6 000-hectare lodge has four camps accommodating 48 guests, with a refurbishment being planned. The reserve currently has four of the Big Five and Tourvest plans to introduce buffalo into the area to make it a Big Five reserve. Shamin Chibba (shaminc@nowmedia.co.za)
