Wilderness Explorer unveils pop-up camping offering

Wilderness Explorer has introduced an ‘add as you go’ accommodation solution aimed at the leisure, conference and incentive.

MD Wayne Pritchard says the company will offer two styles of tents: safari tents and explorer tents.

These can be used as a scalable accommodation solution, where additional rooms are needed. “The duration of the camps is also flexible and this enables tour operators the ability to establish their own camp for an entire season, through which they could rotate group series for example,” says Pritchard.

According to Pritchard, the offering allows client to select exactly what goes into their tents, including an en-suite ablution tent or not.

“For the longest time, accommodation availability, particularly during high season, has often been the cause of much frustration with meeting organisers, travel agents, and tour operators. Many losing a group booking over a handful of rooms which are not available due to conflicting bookings,” says Pritchard.
