Dune Camp, part of the Wolwedans Collection in Namibia’s NamibRand Nature Reserve, has reopened following a major refurbishment. The camp’s main area has undergone significant upgrades, including a redesigned lounge and dining area, new silo bar and a brand-new kitchen.

The camp, which reopened on April 12, offers six tented suites and a family suite, accommodating a maximum of 16 adults and five children. Each suite includes an en-suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers, and a private pool. Children from the age of seven are welcome at Dune Camp.
Wolwedans operates on a private 220 000 hectare reserve committed to long-term land conservation through low-impact tourism. Dune Camp guests can take part in activities such as scenic drives, guided bushman walks and e-fat biking with optional hot-air ballooning and desert sleepouts available at an additional cost.
The camp participates in the AridEden Project and is recognised as a Global Ecosphere Retreat by The Long Run, emphasising sustainability across operations. A daily sustainability levy applies to all guest stays.
Dune Camp is accessible by road from Windhoek (six to seven hours) or by air via Keerweder Airstrip, followed by a 45-minute drive to Wolwedans Village.
