Proven work experience as an inbound travel consultant
Good product knowledge of South Africa and neighboring countries.
Experience in operating itineraries independently (mainly FIT’s,) from start to finish and take responsibility for all aspects of tours, including the accounting side.
Previous working experience on a Tour Operating system is essential (preference given to working experience on Tourplan NX), experience on Wetu would be beneficial
Ability to take initiative and ensure attention to detail.
Put together travel documents for FIT travelers.
Teamwork and enthusiasm to assist colleagues.
Energetic and have a passion for learning and the travel industry
Time management: ability to prioritize, plan, and meet deadlines.
Effective verbal and written communication - internally as well as externally.
Be professional and offer high service levels at all times.
Ability to handle pressure and volume - be able to multitask.
Build relationships with agents as well as suppliers.
Home office set up with uncapped, reliable internet, and own laptop/desktop plus second screen and smartphone
