Access changes at West Coast National Park

South African National Parks has announced the closure of a major access gate to the West Coast National Park from April 22 to June 14 while the facility undergoes upgrades.

The closure of the R27 Gate necessitates a temporary shift in access routes to the park. All visitors will be rerouted through the Langebaan Gate along the park’s northern edge.

The gate upgrade will feature improvements in traffic flow management, streamlined ticketing systems and enhanced visitor amenities under a broader strategy to modernise park infrastructure.
