Air Seychelles has expanded its regional network by increasing services on its Mauritius, Mumbai and Antananarivo routes. It will also launch thrice weekly non-stop Paris flights from July 1, replacing the current thrice-weekly service that operates via Abu Dhabi, before taking service of an Airbus A320 next month.
The new Mumbai flight schedule, effective April 28, will see HM260 depart Mahe’ at 20h45 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays to arrive in Mumbai at 02h55 the next day. The return flight, HM 261, departs Mumbai at 04h00 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, arriving in Mahé at 06h55.
The new Mauritius schedule sees flight HM 55 depart Mahé at 09h30 to arrive in Mauritius at 12h05. The return flight, HM 54 departs Mauritius at 16h20 to arrive in Mahé at 18h55 on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The Tuesday flight is available from April 28, with the current Monday service moving to a Sunday from July 6, subject to regulatory approval.
Additionally, a third weekly flight to Antananarivo will be introduced on, subject to regulatory approval. HM 755 will depart Mahé at 09h20 to arrive in Antananarivo at 11h05 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with return flight HM 754 departing Antananarivo at 14h50 and arriving in Mahé at 18h35.
Meanwhile, a 14th flight will be introduced between Abu Dhabi and Seychelles between Etihad and Air Seychelles, upgrading the service to a double daily. The airline will also use its codeshare service operated by Etihad to incorporate the three-per-week service between Seychelles and Hong Kong into a daily codeshare service.
The non-stop Paris service will continue to be operated to Paris-Charles de Gaulle using an Airbus A330-200. From July 1, it will depart Mahé at 21h40 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and arrive in Paris at 06h05. It will depart Paris at 18h00 on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays to arrive in Mahé at 06h10 the next day.
