BON Hotels has taken ownership and management of Riviera on Vaal Hotel & Country Club in Gauteng.
The 91-room hotel will be renamed BON Hotel Riviera on Vaal and day-to-day business will continue, with minor refurbishments set to take place.
Facilities include three restaurants, an 18-hole golf course, a gym and spa, and a variety of water sports is also available. The property has four conference venues that can accommodate up to 200 people.
Guy Stehlik, BON Hotels CEO, says this is the beginning of the company’s expansion plan into other regions. BON Hotels is performing due diligence on properties in Sandton, Rosebank, Cape Town, Umhlanga Rocks and Illovo.
