Work on the new mountain biking trails in the Cradle is still under way and the trails cannot be used or tested by riders just yet.
Workers are still on site using machinery, vehicles and hand tools that are potentially dangerous to cyclists. In addition, riders could damage trail sections that have not been completed due to rainy conditions.
The first 17km section is likely to open towards the end of April at an official launch event.
