Croc City ‘FlyOver’ has opened at Croc City Crocodile & Reptile Park on the Old Pretoria Road, Johannesburg.
“Guests will experience a bird’s-eye view of these large creatures as you glide over them up to eight metres above the ground. The Croc City FlyOver was built by industry professionals to South African engineering standards – guaranteed to make your heart stop!” says Campbell Scott, co-owner of Chimp & Zee, company that constructed the zip line.
The ‘FlyOver’ gives guests the opportunity to glide over three different crocodile enclosures that range in size from one metre to five metres. The zip line consists of two cable sections with three sectional platforms with a total length of 150 metres.
The experience begins with a brief safety and orientation session that is led by highly trained guides to ensure that all guests are aware of the risks.
Croc City is open seven days a week from 09h00-16h30.
