ENVI Lodges opened ENVI Sisini Mara on May 1, marking the group’s second property in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park.
The camp is located in the northern section of the park, close to one of the key Mara River crossing points along the Great Migration route. It is a 40-minute drive from Kogatende Airstrip and a 20-minute drive from the river.
The property includes nine tented suites and one two-bedroom suite, The Retreat, all designed with views over the surrounding bush. The camp offers easy access to wildlife viewing and seasonal migration activity in one of East Africa’s highest-density game areas.
ENVI Sisini Mara will operate alongside the company’s existing property, ENVI Sisini Serengeti, based in the central section of the park. Multi-night packages combining both camps will be offered.
Facilities at the new camp include outdoor dining areas, spa treatments, walking safaris and the option for hot air balloon excursions. Community visits to nearby Maasai areas are also available.
