Hyatt Regency gets a facelift

HYATT Regency Johannesburg, previously Park Hyatt Johannesburg, is to undergo a number of upgrades with the aim to position the hotel as a leading business hotel in Johannesburg.

The Regency Club, found on the eight and ninth floors of the hotel, will offer separate check-in and check-out facilities on the eighth floor. It is also undergoing a soft refurbishment and will get new furniture, lighting and facilities like a self-service fridge.

The hotel’s 15 suites have also been refurbished and offer new flat-screen TVs and bigger working areas. All 244 rooms will offer high-speed Internet access, an iPod docking station and flat-screen TVs. Twelve of the rooms on the third floor, which have balconies, are being equipped with new outside furniture.
