Hylton Ross Exclusive Touring freezes scheduled tour rates

Hylton Ross Exclusive Touring is keeping its tour rates at current prices until October 2012 in a bid to drive business.

The prices being frozen have been valid since October and will remain the same across all scheduled tours for the next two years.

Says MD, Geert van Doorn: “The whole tourism industry is feeling the pressure, including our neighbours in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana.”

Van Doorn attributes the industry pressure to the strong rand and the earthquake in Japan during one of its peak travel periods of February and March. “The Japanese are one of the top five nationalities who frequent Hylton Ross coach tours. We have had big coach tours cancelled due to the earthquakes and tsunami.”

Hylton Ross recently expanded its operations to include the Kruger Park, Sun City, Soweto and Pretoria.
