Jaci’s Lodges in Madikwe Game Reserve is rebuilding and upgrading its offering after flooding along the Marico River in early 2025.
After the floods swept away Tree Lodge and caused extensive damage to Safari Lodge, the owners decided to redesign and reposition the accommodation offering.
The redesign incorporates natural textures and earthy tones reflecting the surrounding environment.
Jaci’s Private Lodge will reopen on July 1 with 10 redesigned safari suites featuring private decks overlooking the river, sunken lounges and updated interiors.
Accommodation will comprise six Safari suites, four Safari – Expeditions suites, Kubu Villa, Nare Villa and Jaci’s Madikwe House.
The lodge’s exclusive-use Kubu Villa, Nare Villa and Jaci’s Madikwe House have also been upgraded. Each offers three to five bedrooms, a private pool, expanded living areas and a dedicated team including a private chef, front-of-house host and ranger.
