Due to the growth in tourist numbers from India and a heightened interest in South Africa as a tourist destination, Kingfisher Resorts South Africa has announced the appointment of its Indian representation using the expertise, experience and leadership of Medha Sampat.
“Sampat has two decades of expertise and experience in the leisure travel market. Her international experience in the various sectors of the travel industry includes more than 15 years’ exposure in leisure and MICE. Her last assignment was with South African Tourism as Country Manager where she successfully promoted South Africa to the Indian market,” said the company in a media statement.
Mr Jaishankar, CEO of Kingfisher Resorts South Africa, commented: “We will mutually benefit through growth in the market place. We are very positive about the appointment and will fully support Ms Sampat from our South African office. The development of this representation will translate into desired new growth in the Indian market.”
