Online accommodation listings site LekkeSlaap is the latest South African travel company to jump on the rewards programme bandwagon with the launch of LekkeSlaap Rewards.
The programme features a multi-tiered approach, with all users who have created a profile on the site being added to the first tier, rewarding them with 10% discounts on all rewards partner bookings. Tier-two members, customers who have had three or more LekkeSlaap stays during any 18-month period, are rewarded with 15% discounts. The company has also pledged a substantial amount of its own funds towards rewarding these frequent users with free vouchers, with an initial annual commitment of R20 million (€1m) in vouchers to be issued.
