Minister of Tourism Patricia de Lille was spotted in London last week at an exhibition showcasing Nelson Mandela’s life through 16 large-scale portraits by South African artist John Meyer.
De Lille used the opportunity to encourage international travellers to visit South Africa, explore Mandela’s home and experience the country that shaped his legacy.
The exhibition was part of South Africa’s Mandela Day celebrations in London. The following day, De Lille attended the free Scatterlings Concert in Trafalgar Square featuring South African artists: Zakes Bantwini, Jesse Clegg, Msaki, Sjava, Sun-El Musician and Thakzin.
