The Pearl Valley Hotel by the Mantis Collection at the Val de Vie Estate in Paarl opened in March and will officially launch on October 20.
This hotel was developed and is managed by the Mantis Collection; a family-run portfolio of privately-owned hotels and eco-escapes with its headquarters in Port Elizabeth.
The hotel has 38 rooms, 23 one-bedroom suites, one wheelchair-friendly one-bedroom suite and seven two-bedroom suites. The suites have en-suite bathrooms with a shower and a bath, kitchenette, satellite TV, air-conditioning, electronic safe, hair dryer and free WiFi. The single suites have an open-plan living area off the bedroom.
Facilities include a swimming pool, clubhouse, gym, and the Valley Restaurant and Bar.
Activities available are horse riding, wine tastings at the L’Huguenot Venue & Vinoteque and in the Paarl-Franschhoek Valley and polo matches at Val de Vie from October to April.
The hotel is 45 minutes from Cape Town and Cape Town International Airport, and a short drive from many wine estates and restaurants.
