Ever wondered what it would be like to fly in a Hello Kitty-themed plane? Probably not but now the opportunity is there.
The Taiwanese airline, EVA Air, has painted one of its Boeing 777-300ERs with the cast from Hello Kitty as part of its collaboration with the Japanese animation studio, Sanrio. Dubbed the ‘Hello Kitty Shining Star Jet’, it will fly travellers from Chicago and Midwest America to destinations in Northeast and Southeast Asia and China.
Even the cabin crew wear special Hello Kitty uniforms. The interior of the plane, including headrests, pillows, airsick bags and even the toilet paper are Hello Kitty themed. The food is even themed. much of it is shaped like the famous feline.
It may not be every traveller’s dream but the option is there.
