ON December 29 last year, Face Adrenalin, the company that operate bungy jumps off the Bloukrans Bridge in the Eastern Cape, set a new record for the most jumps on one single day. A total of 151 jumpers hurled themselves off the bridge to the delight of hundreds of people who gathered at the jump-site to watch the spectacle. The company has been operating the Bloukrans Bungy jump operation since 1997, and was recognised by the Guinness Book of Records in 2002 as the highest commercial bungy jump in the world at 216 metres.
