RANI Resorts, which owns and operates resort properties in Mozambique and Zimbabwe, has appointed John McMillan as its Johannesburg-based managing director. McMillan will oversee an “ambitious” branding project in the run-up to the reopening of the group’s flagship Indigo Bay Island Resort in November 2006 following extensive renovations Said McMillan on his appointment: “I am delighted to have this opportunity to drive the next phase of development.
