Tanzanian Wildlife Management Authority has completed construction of Engaresero Airstrip in Ngorongoro District, Arusha Region. It was built to enhance local tourism through improved access to Lake Natron.
After completion in June, the airstrip – with a 1.2km, 23m-wide runway – was certified by the Tanzania Airports Authority when it met the required aviation safety standards.
