From September 1, the Pafuri concessionaires in the north of the Kruger National Park, RETURNAfrica and Rare Earth Retreats, will be implementing a General Levy for all visitors.
Visitors to RETURNAfrica’s Pafuri Collection, including Pafuri Camp, Baobab Hill Bush House and Pafuri Walking Trails, as well as visitors to Rare Earth Retreats' Outpost Lodge and Pel's Post, will now be required to pay a fee of R150 (€10) per person, per booking for adults and R75 (€5) per person, per booking for children under 12.
The mandatory charge will not apply to guests with existing bookings.
The levy will go towards the conservation and community efforts in the area, ensuring ongoing sustainability of the concession.
