Travel representation company appoints Germany Head
The Perfections Group has announced the appointment of Sally Hancock as Head of Country – Germany, marking its official expansion into mainland Europe. The hospitality representation and marketing company, which already has offices in South Africa, the UK and Australasia, says the move aligns with its strategy to offer international visibility to independently owned hotels and lodges.

Hancock brings over 15 years of experience in tourism and hospitality marketing, including more than a decade with Sun International and, most recently, with SIXT Autovermietung. The group said her multilingual background and understanding of European travel distribution will support its growing portfolio.
This appointment follows The Perfections Group’s March announcement at ITB Berlin of a strategic partnership with Connect Worldwide. The group has also recently expanded into the Australasian market with Liam Oddie heading up operations in Australia and New Zealand.
New chef for Future Found
Future Found Sanctuary, a boutique hotel on the slopes of Table Mountain, has appointed Malika van Reenen as its new Executive Chef. With nearly 30 years in the culinary industry, van Reenen’s experience spans senior roles at Ginger Restaurant, Cape Grace Hotel and remote luxury lodges in Southern and East Africa.

Her culinary approach is rooted in her Cape Malay heritage, paired with global experience in New York and Switzerland. At Future Found Sanctuary, she will lead a hyper-seasonal programme guided by produce from the hotel’s own gardens and orchards as well as local suppliers.
In her new role, van Reenen will develop a signature range of dishes tailored to each guest’s stay. The hotel’s culinary programme is described as “garden-driven and sensory-focused” aligning with Future Found Sanctuary’s emphasis on slow, personalised luxury.
