Encompass Africa appoints new Sales Director
Encompass Africa has appointed Patrick Clementson as its new Sales Director. Clementson brings nearly 30 years of experience in the luxury travel sector, most recently serving as Global Tailor Made Product Manager – Africa at Abercrombie & Kent.
He will be tasked with strengthening trade partnerships, supporting product development and leading growth across Encompass Africa’s recently launched Collections portfolio.
Encompass Africa MD Jono Wilson said Clementson’s leadership and expertise will support the company’s next growth phase. “He shares our passion for Africa, and his experience, insight and leadership will be instrumental as we continue to refine our offering and grow into new spaces,” said Wilson.
Clementson begins his new role on August 4.
Tswalu appoints Head of Reservations
Tswalu has promoted Jayde Lee to Head of Reservations. Lee joined the company in 2022 as Assistant Reservations Manager, and has since demonstrated strong leadership and attention to detail.
After earning a diploma in hospitality management from the International Hotel School, Lee completed an internship at Regency La Toc in St Lucia and launched her career in reservations at Sabi Sands. She has since built a strong background in luxury hospitality operations.
New Botswana Tourism Organisation Board announced
Wynter Boipuso Mmolotsi, Botswana’s Minister of Environment and Tourism, has announced the appointment of the Botswana Tourism Organisation Board of Directors.
