PROTEA Hotels has opened a new three-star business hotel, Protea Hotel Montrose, in Harrismith in the Free State.
Costing just over R10m to build, the hotel comprises 24 rooms, including two executive suites and two meet-and-greet areas, namely the bar and a corporate lounge.
Conference facilities are still under construction and are expected to be complete by next month. Full Wi-Fi Internet access is also available at the hotel.
Being positioned between Johannesburg and Durban, the hotel has been designed to suit the needs of business and leisure travellers.
