SA Tourism signs ad deal with BBC World.

AS a part of a new campaign, SA Tourism will be advertising during BBC World programmes including Click, Talking Movies and Extra time, its technological, entertainment and sporting programmes. BBC World, BBC’s international news and information channel, has signed an advertising deal with SA Tourism until July 2007 and BBC World’s in-house team will be creating the advertising spots and vignettes. Kingsley Potter, SA Tourism’s cmo, said that it made sense for SA Tourism to associate with a variety of BBC World’s programming as it reflects the variety of life that South Africa has to offer its visitors. “The strength of the BBC World brand and its viewership allows SA Tourism to shift perceptions of SA as well as the rest of the continent,” he said.
