SAA has teamed up with Iata (International Air Transport Association) to offer aviation training for SAA employees as well as other airlines, travel, transport and cargo organisations, based in Southern Africa. The courses, which have been developed by the Iata Training and Development Institute, cover a number of aviation related topics such as cargo skills and procedures, network and fleet planning and airline emergency planning and response. The training courses will take place at the SAA headquarters in Kempton Park and will be offered on a year-to-year basis. Tessa Blane (tessab@nowmedia.co.za)
