SAA reduces flights on four routes

SAA has consolidated its flight schedule, resulting in reduction of frequencies on its Cape Town, Durban, Gqeberha and Gaborone routes.

“Due to operational reasons, SAA anticipates some consolidation on certain routes and flights. Customers with reservations on SAA services for the affected flights will be rebooked on the next available flights operated by SAA,” the airline said in a statement.

The airline said there would be flight cancellations on selected days on flights between Johannesburg and Cape Town (CPT), Durban (DUR), Gqeberha (PLZ) and Gaborone (GBE), between May 1 and June 23. 

Impacted flights include:

  • JNB-CPT-JNB: SA303, SA319, SA355, SA316, SA332 and SA366 
  • JNB-DUR-JNB: SA539, SA563,  SA546 and SA566
  • JNB-PLZ-JNB: SA401 and SA404 
  • JNB-GBE-JNB: SA030 and SA031
