SA TOURISM kicked off its three-City Chinese road show, ‘Enjoy South Africa, Paradise of Nature’, last week where six itineraries were promoted.
The workshops will take place in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing for the Chinese travel trade, media and consumers. According to Zolelwa Mukhoza of SAT, the six itineraries for South Africa were developed after extensive research of the Chinese market was carried out.
These itineraries include a 12-day wildlife and leisure tour, which includes visits to Sun City, Kruger National Park, Johannesburg and Cape Town and a 10-day South African culture tour, which includes Sun City and the Zululand. The other itineraries are an 11-day golf and wine tour, a 13-day diamond and fashion tour, a 13-day high adventure tour and a seven-day Rovos Rail trip.
