THE Rosebank hotel is reopening in August with a new look and feel, thanks to innovative technology designed to create a specific ambience.
At the hub of this innovation is the Circle Bar, where specifically selected music will be played and unique visual effects will be shown on large LCD screens throughout the day.
Petro Magos, from the audiovisual company, Magos Media, says: “In the morning the music will be swingy, big-band stuff to start you off. As you get into the late afternoon there will be more ambient music, picking up the pace a little through to the evening when there will be a harder lounge and acid jazz feel.”
The play lists are random and the catalogue is broad enough to allow for no repetition in a 48-hour cycle.
Magos Media has also created musical themes for all the different reception areas in the hotel, including the gym and the hotel’s restaurant, Fresh.
Newly appointed general manager, Rick Berendsen, says: “We are making a visit to The Rosebank an experience in itself by focusing on every aspect of the guest experience so that relaxation, fun and excitement are all part of the package.”
