A new ultra-luxury coastal wine farm and spa, situated at the base of Cape Town’s renowned Chapman’s Peak Drive, is set to open in mid-October 2025.
Part of the Africa Hidden Gems Portfolio, The Alexander Estate was established as a family retreat and vineyard in Noordhoek in 1960. The estate will now feature 10 luxury spa suites including an expansive penthouse suite.
Six suites will be located within Alexander Manor House, including four luxury spa suites with ocean and vineyard views, indoor and outdoor showers, log-burning fireplaces and private decks with heated plunge pools.
Vineyard Villa will include three luxury spa suites together with the penthouse suite comprising a lounge, dining room, study and kitchen along with a large deck with a four-poster daybed and heated plunge pool. The entire Vineyard Villa can be booked as an exclusive-use option.
The estate’s Vineyard Spa will offer a host of Africology treatments as well as a sauna and steam room alongside a gym.
Activities on offer will include picnics at the estate’s private Echo Dam, specialised wine and food pairings, private cellar tours, whiskey tastings and bespoke culinary experiences at the Chef’s Table.
