Video of the week: Leopard takes on porcupine

A cautious but curious leopard took on a resilient porcupine in a video posted to Twitter by SANParks last week.

In the short clip, taken by Mark Wynn, the leopard approaches the porcupine and bats at him much as any housecat would with a toy. But the porcupine circles, unperturbed, and finally the meeting ends in what seems to be a truce, for now.
