Key responsibilities include:
- Managing assigned Travelinfo supplier accounts and listings.
- Ensuring client information is accurate, current and aligned with contracted packages.
- Following up on client proofs, updates, approvals and outstanding information.
- Maintaining clear records of correspondence, approvals and account changes.
- Supporting client renewals and account retention.
- Identifying sensible upsell opportunities within existing accounts where relevant.
- Using company systems consistently and accurately.
- Communicating professionally with suppliers, colleagues and management.
- Escalating issues or discrepancies early and appropriately.
Requirements:
- Travel industry experience is essential.
- Experience in supplier sales, reservations, wholesale travel, retail travel, product, account support or travel administration would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong follow-up and administrative discipline.
- Ability to work independently once trained.
- Comfortable using online systems, databases, email and Microsoft Office.
- Professional, reliable and accountable approach.
- Ability to manage routine work consistently without constant supervision.
- Able to work effectively in a hybrid environment, including having reliable internet access and a private, suitable working space at home for home-work days.

Travelinfo is looking for a reliable, detail-driven Account Executive to manage client listings, updates, renewals and supplier information on South Africa’s leading travel trade information platform.
This role is best suited to someone with travel industry experience who is organised, accurate, client-focused and comfortable working with detailed information. It is not a pure new business sales role. The focus is on looking after existing supplier accounts, keeping information correct and current, following up professionally, and supporting renewals and appropriate account growth.
Travelinfo is used by travel agents who rely on accurate supplier information. For this reason, attention to detail, follow-through and professional client communication are essential.
