Matetsi Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe has appointed Jonathan Hudson as Deputy General Manager of the property.
Jono, as he’s known in the industry, was previously General Manager of Great Plains Conservation, Zimbabwe. With over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Hudson prides himself on delivering service excellence with authentic Zimbabwean hospitality.
Zimbabwean born and raised, he began his career in London where he trained in the F&B sectors of The Dorchester Hotel and Sheraton Belgravia Hotel. Since then, he has gained extensive experience working in high-end safari lodges and hotels in Africa and has planted roots in the Victoria Falls region.
Hudson joined the team at the beginning of August and has hit the ground running, utilising his well-rounded experience to support the Matetsi Victoria Falls team led by General Manager Franco Rienzo.
“I am thoroughly looking forward to working with the team here at Matetsi Victoria Falls to assist in developing and taking the property to new heights,” said Hudson. “We have an incredible team and product on an amazing wildlife concession. I look forward to making my mark here.”
