FIVE-STAR Greenways Hotel in Upper Claremont, Cape Town, is revamping its reception area to make it more guest friendly. The wine list at the hotel’s Ashton’s Restaurant was selected for a Diners Club gold award recently for the the second successive year. Greenways Hotel, built in the late 1920s as a private residence for the Ashton family, opened in November 2002 after a full refurbishment. It received five-star grading in April 2004, reconfirmed in April 2006. The hotel is named after the family home of English detective novelist, Agatha Christie, in Torquay, Devon. Hilka Birns
