THE Automobile Association of South Africa has award Sun International hotels and resorts its AA Quality Assured Associate status. Sun International says that the status serves as an endorsement of the quality of service and accommodation it offers. “The AA endorsement of our properties lends credence to our establishments and encourages the travel trade and individual travellers to stay at our hotels in preference to non-AA endorsed properties,” said Philip Georgas, divisional director for Sun International Resorts. When assessing properties, the AA looks at several quality standards, including cleanliness, service and hospitality, guest comfort, bathroom facilities, food quality, and additional guest amenities.
