The Africa’s Eden MICE Show 2026, in partnership with the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI), will take place in Livingstone from February 18-20, focusing on integrating business events into destination marketing to support regional growth and long-term tourism impact.
When Africa’s Eden introduced a MICE component to its travel show, it reflected a shift in collaboration between business events and tourism across the continent.
“The beauty of MICE lies in its ability to beat seasonality,” said Jillian Blackbeard, Africa’s Eden CEO. “Rather than being driven by holiday-focused FIT travel, business tourism as well as group meetings and incentive travel often fill destinations when they’re at their quietest. It’s this balance that sustains our region year-round and supports the livelihoods that depend on tourism.”
At the 2025 edition, SAACI CEO Glenton de Kock emphasised that events should reflect the identity and values of their host destinations. SAACI joined as a formal partner in 2026, helping shape how the region is presented to the global MICE market.
The 2026 programme will include site inspections at venues such as The Royal Livingstone Resort, Chobe Game Lodge and Victoria Falls Safari Lodge as well as experiences across Livingstone, Victoria Falls and Kasane.
