Air Seychelles has announced a new twice-weekly service to Rome Fiumicino Airport, Italy, beginning on March 29.
According to the airline, the introduction of the route comes at a critical time for the tourism industry and aims to ensure continued and reliable access for travellers to and from Seychelles.
Air Seychelles also stressed the importance of maintaining strong and reliable air links, especially with one of Seychelles’ most important European markets, as global travel patterns become affected by ongoing conflict in the Gulf region. The conflict has led to the temporary suspension of services by several Gulf carriers that traditionally provide key connections to Seychelles.
The route will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays with a short technical stop in Hurghada, Egypt.
