Ashtons Tours will be trialling additional scheduled shuttle departures between June 22 and October 31. This caters primarily for the direct local and international markets.
The new schedule will run as follows:
- New 11h00 departure from OR Tambo International Airport, via Nelspruit and White River, to Hazyview, arriving at approximately 16h00.
- Proceed via R40 to Hoedspruit, arriving approximately 17h30.
- New 08h30 departure from Hoedpruit via R40 to collect clients from Hazyview at 10h00, white River at 10h45, and Nelspruit at 11h15.
- Arriving at OR Tambo International Airport at approximately 15h30.

These new timings are aimed at passengers travelling between OR Tambo International Airport and the above-mentioned Lowveld towns, avoiding the need to overnight in Johannesburg. They will also enable clients to do same-day flights into and out of OR Tambo International Airport if making use of Ashtons shuttle services – catering for a wide variety of local and international flights.
The additional daily departures are guaranteed during the trial period between June 22 and October 31. Ashtons has advised that members of the travel trade can book additional shuttles at previously advertised rates for transfers between the above locations.
Should the four-month trial period prove popular, Ashtons will officially include them amongst the portfolio of shuttle services currently offered to the local and international travel trade, effective November 1.
