Autograph Collection Hotels, Marriott International’s collection of independent hotels, has welcomed five African Pride Hotels into its global portfolio. This marks the debut of the brand in South Africa and adds to the more than 135 hotels around the world owned by Autograph Collection Hotels.
The hotels rebranding are African Pride Melrose Arch Hotel in Johannesburg, African Pride 15 on Orange Hotel in Cape Town, African Pride Mount Grace Country House & Spa in the Magaliesberg, African Pride Irene Country Lodge outside Pretoria and Arabella Hotel & Spa, Arabella Country Estate in Hermanus, Western Cape.
Speaking on the development, Alex Kyriakidis President and Managing Director, Middle East and Africa, Marriott International said: “South Africa is a strategic growth market for us and key to our success in the region. This rebranding is in lockstep with the growing demand from consumers and their desire for unique and differentiated experiences wherever they travel.”
