Breaking news: SAA Chair given the axe

Dudu Myeni has been given the axe as SAA Chair.

South African Airways (SAA) Chair, Dudu Myeni has been removed from the board of SAA, this according to News 24.

It has been reported that Myeni has been replaced with JB Magwaza by Cabinet, reports ENCA while the new Deputy Chair is Nora Fakude-Nkuna.

These changes come ahead of the final details of a plan to recapitalise the airline, which is expected to be announced shortly says the Mail & Guardian.

Phumla Williams, Government Spokesperson mentioned that any information pertaining to Cabinet decisions shall be announced at a post Cabinet briefing on October 19, at 13h00.
