FlyNamibia reshuffles domestic routes

FlyNamibia has suspended morning flights between Eros Airport in Windhoek and Ondangwa until further notice.

Flights 8505 and 8506 from Eros to Ondangwa have been suspended on Mondays and Fridays. Passengers affected by the cancellations will be rebooked on the next available service.

“This decision follows a comprehensive review of our route network and operational requirements to ensure the sustainable allocation of resources across our scheduled services,” the airline said in a statement.

FlyNamibia will also end its Eros-Lüderitz service on July 2. The temporary service was introduced to support increased demand associated with the Shell Namibia exploration campaign, which is drawing to a close.
