D'Ouwe Werf gets make-over

The Cape’s oldest hotel, the d'Ouwe Werf, is undergoing refurbishment.

The renovations aim to preserve the original style of the hotel due to its place in the history of the area. Work will begin in the oldest section, the Manor House, and will not interfere with the day-to-day running of the hotel.

The first phase of the refurbishment project is expected to be completed within three months and will see the introduction of 10 new rooms and a new reception area
