Gondwana Collection has announced that the Etosha King Nehale Lodge will open in May 2020 in the King Nehale Conservancy, Namibia.
Located on the Andoni Plains, just a kilometre from Etosha’s northernmost King Nehale gate, the lodge consists of 40 rooms, each with its own plunge pool, WiFi connectivity, en-suite bathrooms, showers, air-conditioning/heating and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
Guests will also have private access to a secluded waterhole inside the Etosha National Park.
The central area will include a Boma with a fireplace, and a restaurant with large windows overlooking the surrounding plains. The lodge features the Oshiwambo culture and invites interaction between guests.
Activities will be announced in time for the opening of the lodge, but will include nature trips to the northern part of the Etosha National Park, which has not been readily accessible by tourists until now.
