Rusinga Management Company has taken over the ownership and management of Rusinga Island Lodge on the shores of Lake Victoria, Kenya.
Since January, refurbishment on the lodge has been taking place and work on the ‘back of house’ areas is complete. Full refurbishment of the guest rooms and public areas will commence after Easter. Guest rooms will have new floors, curtains, bedcovers, cushions and mosquito nets, and wall decorations will reflect the local culture using materials crafted by the nearby community.
