Kasaka joins Pinnacle Collection

KASAKA River Lodge, located in Zambia’s Lower Zambezi Valley, has joined the Pinnacle Collection’s “Africa Untamed portfolio”. Pinnacle will handle African and European sales and marketing as well as the day to day management of the lodge. Exclusive Retreats will continue to look after the UK sales and marketing. Kasaka consists of eight luxury tents and open-air public areas that overlook the Lower Zambezi River. Activities include game drives and game walks with armed wildlife scouts, river-based game viewing, island excursions and sundowners, painting safaris with renowned wildlife artist Rory McDougall, fishing and fly fishing. In addition, around 375 species of bird have been recorded in the vicinity of the lodge. The development of a large inter-leading family unit is currently underway, this in accordance with the growth of the family safari market and the popularity of the bush kids program. The family unit will be available for bookings from mid May 2006. (Darren Sandras) darrens@nowmedia.co.za
